Our Story

Eighty-plus years
on the water

Champlin's has been a Hope Valley landmark since 1937, when the Champlin family first opened their doors to travelers seeking a quiet escape on the shores of Lake Quassett. What began as a modest waterfront inn has grown into a full resort — but the spirit remains the same.

Today, guests still come for the lake views, the boat slips, and the unhurried pace. They stay for the warmth of the staff, the comfort of the rooms, and the feeling that this place has been waiting for them all along.
